Sound Ranch was formed over 20 years ago, and has had locations in several cities, including Seattle, Bellevue and Sacramento, CA. It was at first formed for music composition for music libraries, but later also specialized in sound design, mixing and mastering.

We’ve had the opportunity to work with a myriad of projects and clients, and have recorded singles and full-length albums for jazz, hip-hop, rock, pop, country, EDM, and experimental. In September of 2022 we completed our live sound studio near downtown Sacramento. In the studio we are able to record live sound for film and advertising, such as Foley, voice over and ADR, as well as full-length music records and podcasts.

As we grow a little bigger, we’ll show photos of our team members (Ranch Hands). Since a lot of what we do centers around video, we’ll probably start including some of that too.

If you’re looking for an equipment list, we are either too lazy to post it or don’t feel it’s important. Actually it’s a little of both. Having said that, we have all the high-quality gear and know-how to do great sounding projects.
